Dina Meyer was born at Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished the junior high school, she moved from Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger. Her first exposure to the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling from ages nine to sixteen. She began her training in acting with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York in which she learned Sanford Meisner's acting techniques along alongside Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training and also Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among the actors who have received this type of training. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to make the move from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts, establishing her as a sexy actress. It was through the agents that was Matt LeBlanc that she was successful in securing a regular role in the TV show Friends.
