Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress who starred in various genres of film as well as theatre and television was an incredibly well-known American. Anne Lockhart is an American actor from the United States. She was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is the daughter and granddaughter of daughter of actor Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career at the age of four. Carpenter said the actress was his initial option for the role, however, she declined. Anne doesn't recall ever being contacted from John Carpenter nor being offered the job. One of her agents might have turned down the opportunity for her, but not even known. Glen Larson, who had provided her with the first draft of the script for a role in the television series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, first chose her. Her initial reaction was to decline the role due to the fact that her character wasn't to be strong enough. Glen came up with a completely new character to play for her using Sheba being a more formidable role model. The Living Legend, the first twenty-five pages of which she had already read and was subsequently accepted. The show lasted only one season. The actress co-starred on Joyride with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
